IgniteRemote includes native USB passthrough and an exclusive USB-Only Mode designed for ECU flashing over low-bandwidth connections. Generic remote desktop tools don't support USB device sharing or Flash-Safe protections for automotive programming.

USB-Only Mode is an exclusive feature that forwards only USB data between devices — no screen sharing, no video stream. This dramatically reduces bandwidth requirements (as low as ~40 KB/s), making it ideal for ECU flashing and key programming over LTE or mobile hotspot connections.

Flash-Safe is a set of built-in safeguards designed to reduce risk during remote programming operations. It includes heartbeat monitoring, automatic pause on connection degradation, session recovery, and pre-flash connection quality checks. Note: Flash-Safe is designed to reduce risk, not eliminate it.

IgniteRemote works with most USB-based automotive diagnostic and programming tools, including Autel IM608 Pro, XTOOL X100 PAD, Lonsdor K518, OBDSTAR X300, SmartPro, AutoProPAD, and many more. Compatibility depends on device profiles and network quality.

IgniteRemote currently supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). macOS and Linux support is planned for future releases.

Yes! Every new account gets a 7-day full-feature Automotive Pro+ trial. A credit card is required to start the trial. You get access to all features including USB-Only Mode and Flash-Safe protections during the trial.

IgniteRemote offers three plans: Solo ($9.90/mo), Pro ($24.90/mo), and Automotive Pro+ ($49.90/mo). Plans differ in the number of devices, concurrent sessions, and available features. All plans include Remote Desktop and basic USB passthrough.

Yes. All connections use AES-256 end-to-end encryption. We support multi-factor authentication, role-based access control, and full session audit logging. All software downloads are digitally signed. Session data flows peer-to-peer when possible and is never stored on our servers.

Yes. The IgniteRemote Agent installs as a Windows service and starts at boot, enabling unattended remote access without any user interaction on the remote machine. This is ideal for shop PCs, dealer workstations, and permanent installations.

For Remote Desktop, we recommend at least 500 KB/s for a good experience. USB-Only Mode works with as little as ~40 KB/s, making it suitable for 3G/LTE connections and mobile hotspots.
